Research

The Institute for Clinical Molecular Biology aims to identify genetic variation that influences wound healing and repair mechanisms in aged humans. For this task comprehensive large-scale case-control association studies on extensive DNA collections of centenarians/nonagenarians and younger control subjects (1000 individuals in each group) are performed.

Work Contribution within RESOLVE

Identification and genetic investigation of genes involved in human aging and wound healing.
